About Us
Oral Surgery in Dalton and Calhoun, GA
Dr. Billy Chung was born in South Korea and immigrated to the US at the age of 9 with his family, moving to Orange County California. He is the eldest of two children. His father is a Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church where he lives. His younger sister is a Professor at USC. Dr. Chung Attended Pacific Union College where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1984. He then went on to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1989. In 1990 he was accepted to Loma Linda University Medical Center’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program where he excelled in Clinical training. He was the recipient of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award. From 1993-94 he was the Chief resident.
